About Us

EPIC is a non-denominational, Christ-centered outreach ministry. We are Believers from many different backgrounds. We are passionate about reaching out to surfers, skaters, and radical folk with the Good News of Life in Jesus!

EPIC is a long-term mission plant in Jax Beach; though we are stoked to go wherever God sends us.

EPIC is not just for surfers!!  While surf culture is our target Nation, surfing is our all-access pass into lots of other spheres of influence.  Surfing unlocks doors with kids and young adults anywhere and everywhere.

Our History
EPIC was born in 2001, though we met for years as part of an awesome surf ministry called 3FO.  EPIC hit the ground running, starting weekly meetings, surf camps, surf contests, ministry conferences, and more by 2002!  Praise God!

Our Core Values for Ministry
These are the values we hope to impart through our ministries.  We call them our "fp3" values:

  • FAITH
  • PURITY
  • PASSION
  • PURPOSE

FAITH:  Faith in Jesus yields eternal life.  Without faith in Jesus, you're on your own on Judgement Day.

PURITY:  We are to be holy, like our God is holy: we are IN this world, but not OF this world.

PASSION:  Misplaced passion can lead us down the wrong road; passion for Jesus leads us to abundant life!

PURPOSE:  We are called to serve Jesus with everything we've got; when we find our reason for being in Him, everything else lines up!

We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative word of God.
